What is restaurant back-office software?

Restaurant back-office software handles everything that prepares and tracks service, outside the POS: sales forecasting, stock and orders, recipe costing, scheduling, HACCP checks and profitability. Enskel brings these six modules together in one system, from head office to every site, on the same data.

Do I need all six modules?

No. The six modules are grouped into three packages, each with its own price, excl. VAT, per site per month: Operations, €35, for recipe costing, profitability, stock and scheduling; Forecasting, €100, for the forecast of every service, with stock and scheduling automated by AI; HACCP, €15, for temperature and hygiene checks. The prices of the packages you choose add up, per site. They all read the same data: POS sales feed the forecast, ingredient requirements and food cost.

How long does it take to get started?

One week after access to your POS data. First, we scope your sites, your tools and the decisions to prepare; then we check access to the POS and the depth and quality of the history. The first forecasts follow, and the other modules plug into the same data.

Which POS systems are connected?

Popina, today. Not on Popina? Tell us which POS you use: we look into the connection with you; the timing depends on its vendor. You keep your POS: Enskel reads your sales, with the product, quantity, time and site. Weather and events near each site are already built in.

How much does Enskel cost?

One price per site per month, depending on the packages you choose: Forecasting €100 excl. VAT, Operations €35 excl. VAT, HACCP €15 excl. VAT. Their prices add up, and each package includes data analysis in charts. The pilot site is free for three months, excluding HACCP. Details and a calculator are on the Enskel pricing page.

Who makes the final call?

Your teams. Enskel forecasts and calculates; the site manager approves orders and the rota. Every forecast shows its margin of error, and an exceptional closure, an unavailable product or a menu change can be flagged in Enskel. After each service, the forecast is compared with actual sales.

Where is our data?

In Paris: accounts with Supabase, large volumes (sales, forecasts, calculations) with Scaleway. At Supabase, the database and its backups stay in the Paris region; some processing, such as support or billing, may take place elsewhere, under standard contractual clauses. The security and data hosting page lists the sub-processors and their regions.
