What is restaurant management software?
Restaurant management software brings the day-to-day running of the kitchen together in one tool: recipe cards and the cost of each dish, stock and orders, the brigade’s rota, HACCP records and the covers forecast. With Enskel, these six modules share the same data, for an independent restaurant as much as for a group.
Is Enskel right for an independent restaurant?
Yes. Enskel works for a single site, and the price is set per site per month, depending on the packages chosen. An independent restaurant can start with the Operations package: recipe costing, profitability, stock and scheduling. Forecasting can also be taken on its own, or added later. The details are in Enskel’s pricing, package by package.
How do you run a restaurant group?
Each restaurant sees its day, and you see all of them. The same method applies to every site, with a site-by-site view: forecast covers, orders, food cost. Recipe cards can be shared, costed at each restaurant’s purchase prices, and each site is compared with its own theoretical cost.
Where should you start?
With your best-selling dishes: first their recipe cards, costed to the gram, then their margin. With the price of each ingredient, each recipe card gives the food cost per portion and what the dish earns, before other costs. Stock, scheduling and forecasting then plug into the same data.
Does the forecast take the weather into account?
Yes. Enskel forecasts each service, in covers by time slot and in sales product by product, from your POS, the weather, local events and the calendar: day of the week, school holidays, bank holidays. Each forecast shows its margin of error, and your team keeps the final say on orders and prep.
Which POS do I need?
Popina is connected. Your POS isn’t Popina? Tell us which one: we look at the connection with you; the timing depends on its vendor. You don’t change POS: Enskel reads your sales. One week after access to your POS data, Enskel gives its first forecasts.
