COMPARISON 01 / 04

Enskel or inpulse: what each vendor publishes

Enskel and inpulse both forecast restaurant sales to derive orders. The two vendors’ pages, read on 4 November 2026, show two clear differences: Enskel has a staff scheduling module and a HACCP module, which inpulse’s pages do not present as modules; Enskel publishes its prices, inpulse does not. inpulse, on the other hand, presents an invoice management module and EDI ordering.

What they have in common

Both products forecast from sales history, then derive orders and quantities to prepare. Both take the weather into account in the forecast, have a recipe sheet module and compare actual food cost with theoretical. Both target groups: inpulse says it works with groups of 5 to more than 300 sites and offers multi-site set-up in all its plans; Enskel goes from a single site to a whole group.

Where they differ

Scheduling and HACCP: Enskel handles them in its own modules. Scheduling matches teams to expected footfall, and HACCP records are kept on a tablet. inpulse lists partner software for both: its integrations page puts Combo, RHIS and Skello in its staff planning category and states that inpulse integrates with your HACCP management software.

Prices: Enskel publishes the price of each package on its pricing page. inpulse’s pricing page presents three plans without amounts; sales forecasting only appears from the second one.

Purchasing: inpulse presents invoice management that matches delivery notes, invoices and credit requests, and EDI ordering with suppliers. Enskel does not present these functions on its pages.

How to choose

If you already have scheduling software and HACCP software that suit you, inpulse’s integration-based approach may be enough; if you want forecasting, scheduling and records in a single tool, Enskel’s approach fits. In both cases, ask to see the forecast on your own sales, and check that your POS is connected. The guide to choosing software lists the questions to ask; the comparison of twelve software tools places the other vendors.
